Agile Practitioner Purpose
The Agile Consortium stimulates people to become aware of the benefits of being agile and the means to get there. These means include the Manifesto for Agile Software Development, a great number of agile practices and of course agile behaviour.
The Agile Practitioner Certificate is meant for people who have at least 6 months of practical experience with agile frameworks, processes and practices and who continuously strive to become still better at what they do and contribute.
The idea behind the Agile Practitioner Exam, which preceeds the granting of an Agile Practitioner Certificate, is that candidates thoroughly reflect on their behaviour during their agile project(s) and among their peers and on the changes they create. Doing so may reveal many opportunities for continuing excellent behaviour and for further improvement.
